Friday, December 21, 2007 - 4 Days til Christmas! :

It's getting close to one of my most favorite days of the year! This year Christmas time came faster than usual. I don't even think I am ready for it, and I have not come close to finishing up any of my Christmas shopping. I have decided to give everyone that I care about a different kind of present this year. The gift that keeps on giving. Which of course is spending some quality time with myself : ) I may even bake some cookies to go along with it.

For once in my life I think shopping can be overrated. Giving and receiving presents is great but it's not what makes Christmas time my favorite time of the year. I love the lights, music, decorating, baking, and all the other wonderful things we do at Christmas time. It all reminds me of when I was a little girl and it was always such a joyful experience. Above all I love sharing this time with the people I care about the most — my family and friends.
