Tuesday, April 22, 2008 - Orange County Classic :

This past weekend was very fun and busy. I spent the whole weekend up in Orange County helping my client and good friend Sarah Turse get ready for her first show. The final week of contest prep is always very important. You have to be aware of everything you are putting in your body because it will make such a big difference of how you look the day of the show. We spent a lot of time posing and working on her presentation on stage.

On Thursday morning she did her first photo shoot with FitSights Photography at the coves of La Jolla. I did her make-up and assisted will her posing for the photos. They all came out beautiful and she is a great model.

On Friday I headed up to Orange County to help Sarah get ready for contest day. I was so excited for her to be doing her first show -- it made me feel like I was competing myself. She did a great job on Saturday and looked absolutely stunning. I was so proud of her and happy that I could be a part of the experience.

On Saturday night after the busy day a big group of us headed over to the Cheesecake Factory to celebrate with lots of food and strawberry martinis. After spending so much time dieting for a competition it is nice to be able to eat whatever you want for a change!
